Due to some money issues, I wasn’t able to get quite everything that I wanted at the comic shop today. Homework has rendered me unable to read all of them yet, but TMNT is probably the stand out so far. Spaceman is interesting, but I really need a second issue to come out; the pacing in the debut was a little too quick for my liking. But Brian Azzarello hasn’t steered me wrong yet!

I found a copy of the first volume of 100 Bullets by Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso. I’ve been a fan of Azzarello since I first got the Joker OGN in 2008. Since then, I’ve pretty much bought anything with his name on it. 100 Bullets, however, always seemed to elude my thoughts when I’d set out to find the next comic series to read. Today, though, I grabbed a super cheap used copy of First Shot, Last Call.
If anyone reading this loves crime, gangsters, noir, or just plain good stories, pick up this book. I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to finally start it, but I’m gonna read this one through to the end.
